“Proxy” service

Tomorrows Together “proxy” service will help you to maximise your service delivery and strategic direction as well as help community groups and individuals to keep up to date on activities or initiatives that may effect them.

This is achieved by attending relevant meetings/events /initiatives /conferences/forums/campaigns on your behalf, acting as your representative. For example, we presently provide a “proxy” service to the Alzheimers society at relevant strategic meetings.

The Governments policy drivers require Housing, Health and Social Care to link and integrate services. This presents a challenge in terms of knowledge gaps and staffing resources to attend additional meetings aimed at all three sectors.

Whilst minutes record the meetings and are circulated to those registered on the mailing lists, opportunities can often be missed for those who are unable to attend. Attendance or being represented at meetings enable you to have:-

  • A greater awareness of funding opportunities

  • Discussions and negotiations beneficial to your service provision

  • Opportunities to establish partnerships

  • Publicity for your business by raising awareness

  • Up to date information on local events/ initiatives / frameworks

  • An influence on strategies and plans for the areas that may directly impact on your service as we can make decisions on your behalf and present proposals
